British Swim School – Delafield is growing, and we're looking for energetic, dependable, and enthusiastic people to join our swim instructor team!
We're not just teaching kids how to swim. We're building confidence, teaching life-saving water safety skills, and creating an experience that families look forward to every week.
Whether you're an experienced swim instructor, a former competitive swimmer, a college student, or someone who simply loves working with children, we'd love to meet you!
No swim teaching experience? No problem! We provide paid, hands-on training to help you become a confident and successful instructor.
What You'll Do
- Teach fun, engaging, safety-focused swim lessons to children of various ages and abilities
- Help swimmers develop confidence, independence, and essential water survival skills
- Create a positive, encouraging learning environment
- Build relationships with swimmers and their families
- Celebrate swimmer progress and accomplishments
- Work alongside a supportive team that takes pride in making a difference
Who We're Looking For

- Strong communicators who enjoy working with families and coworkers
- Individuals who are open to coaching, feedback, and learning new skills
Previous experience in swimming, coaching, childcare, teaching, or lifeguarding is a plus, but not required.
Schedule & Pay
Starting at $18/hour
We're currently hiring for:
- Weekday morning shifts- 9:00am- noon
- Weekday afternoon and evening shifts 3:30-7:00pm
Flexible part-time opportunities are available. Consistent weekly availability is important because our swimmers thrive when they build relationships with familiar instructors.

Our instructors should like working with this age group and be good at making parents feel comfortable. It's helpful if you have experience with children or in a child-focused job, but it's not required if you can show the right attitude. The job comes with specialized training in our advanced and unique British Swim School approach.
We also have exciting opportunities with our Customer Service Team, even if you're not in the pool. These are the people committed to providing the best service in the industry. In these roles, you might talk to parents on the phone or by the pool.
