Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a SW Eng in Test w/ Playwright Exp for a Contract with a client in Austin, TX/Cupertino, CA. The ideal candidate will design and execute end-to-end automated testing for complex web applications, APIs, and integrated systems to ensure quality and data consistency.

Rate Range: $56/Hour to $58/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

SW Eng in Test w/ Playwright Exp Responsibilities include:

  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web applications, APIs, and end-to-end system workflows using Playwright and other automation frameworks.

  • Design and implement scalable test automation solutions to improve test coverage, efficiency, and product quality.

  • Perform system integration testing to validate data flow, system interactions, and end-to-end business processes across multiple platforms.

  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to analyze requirements, identify test scenarios, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

  • Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing initiatives within agile development environments.

  • Conduct defect analysis, troubleshoot test failures, and provide clear documentation and reporting of testing results, risks, and quality metrics.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 8-10 years of experience in Software Quality Engineering, Test Automation, and SDET roles.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Python or JavaScript, Playwright, UI/API automation testing, and CI/CD pipeline integration.

  • Proven expertise in end-to-end system integration testing, complex business requirement analysis, and cross-platform/device testing.

Pay Details: $56.00 to $58.00 per hour
