    Description

    We are partnering with a rapidly growing private equity-backed technology services platform that is transforming a fragmented market through strategic acquisitions and operational excellence. With revenues expected to grow from approximately $50M today to $150M-$200M over the coming years, the business is seeking a Senior Vice President of Finance to build and scale a best-in-class finance organization.

    This is a rare opportunity for an accomplished finance and accounting leader to join at a pivotal inflection point, drive enterprise-wide finance transformation, and position themselves for a clear path to CFO within 2-3 years.

    The successful candidate will combine technical accounting expertise with strong leadership capabilities, bringing the discipline and rigor required to professionalize processes, implement scalable systems, and lead a growing finance team.

    Responsibilities

    • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing finance and accounting organization
    • Assess existing team capabilities and implement organizational enhancements as needed
    • Recruit and onboard key finance talent, including a Senior Accounting Manager
    • Establish accountability, performance standards, and scalable operating processes
    • Own the monthly close process and consolidated financial reporting across multiple entities
    • Ensure compliance with GAAP and best-in-class accounting practices
    • Drive audit readiness and establish strong internal controls
    • Manage external auditors and accounting advisors
    • Lead financial integration of newly acquired businesses
    • Standardize accounting policies, reporting, and workflows across operating companies
    • Centralize finance operations from subsidiary-level entities into a corporate structure
    • Support 1-3 acquisitions annually through post-close finance integration
    • Lead ongoing NetSuite implementation and optimization initiatives
    • Drive adoption of AP automation and workflow technologies
    • Improve reporting infrastructure, financial visibility, and operational efficiency
    • Implement scalable processes that support future growth
    • Support transition to new banking relationships and revolving credit facilities
    • Oversee cash management, liquidity planning, and financial controls
    • Develop reporting capabilities for leadership, lenders, and investors
    • Partner closely with leadership on financial strategy and business performance
    • Prepare materials and insights for board and investor discussions
    • Serve as a trusted advisor on operational and financial decision-making

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
    • CPA strongly preferred
    • 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience
    • 3-4 years of public accounting experience with a Top 20 accounting firm
    • Strong technical accounting and financial reporting expertise
    • Demonstrated experience managing monthly closes and multi-entity consolidations
    • Experience leading accounting teams within private equity-backed, roll-up, or acquisitive organizations
    • Proven ability to build teams, create processes, and scale finance infrastructure

    Preferred Experience

    • NetSuite implementation or ERP transformation experience
    • Acquisition integration experience in a multi-entity environment
    • Experience supporting lender, board, and investor reporting
    • Familiarity with Qualified Small Business Stock (QSBS) considerations
