Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Sustainability Manager to lead and drive sustainability initiatives, ESG programs, and environmental performance across the organization. The ideal candidate will partner with cross-functional teams to embed sustainability into business operations, ensure compliance with global ESG frameworks, and deliver measurable environmental and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sustainability strategies and programs aligned with corporate objectives and ESG commitments.
- Define, track, and report key sustainability KPIs to measure environmental impact and program effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with global sustainability standards and frameworks, including GRI, CDP, ISO 14001, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with operations, procurement, finance, and business teams to integrate sustainability into core business processes.
- Create sustainability dashboards, scorecards, and reports using Power BI, Excel, and data analytics tools.
- Identify and drive initiatives focused on carbon reduction, energy efficiency, resource optimization, and waste minimization.
- Lead stakeholder engagement efforts and influence sustainability-focused decision-making across the organization.
- Leverage AI, automation, and digital technologies to enhance sustainability performance and reporting.
- Conduct sustainability risk assessments and develop mitigation and improvement plans.
- Communicate sustainability goals, progress, and impact to internal and external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience managing sustainability, ESG, environmental, or corporate responsibility programs.
- Strong knowledge of ESG frameworks, sustainability reporting, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, data analysis, and reporting tools.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive organizational change.
- Experience in sustainability data management, carbon accounting, and environmental performance measurement is preferred.
- Knowledge of AI-driven sustainability solutions and digital transformation initiatives is a plus.
Salary Range: $130,000 - $160,000 a year
