Sushi Chef- Benihana

This role involves preparing sushi and side items at the sushi bar, primarily in front of guests, ensuring adherence to portioning, recipes, and sanitation standards.

• Greet guests, respond to requests, and ensure satisfaction with food and service.
• Prepare a variety of foods using kitchen equipment, maintaining cleanliness and organization.
• Follow proper food handling, presentation, and safety procedures, including storage and rotation.
• Assist with opening and closing duties and report maintenance issues.
• Maintain professional appearance and courteous interaction with guests and team members.
• Participate in ensuring memorable guest celebrations and perform additional duties as assigned.

  Qualifications include successful completion of sushi chef training, with prior sushi experience preferred. Skills required include excellent customer service, communication, teamwork, physical stamina, food safety knowledge, problem-solving, and shift flexibility.
