Pilot / Surveyor - Commercial RoofingJRC, Incorporated is a nationwide commercial roofing and construction company headquartered just north of Nashville in Greenbrier, Tennessee. Since 1990, JRC has provided commercial roofing and exterior improvement services across the country, with operations in 48 states.We are seeking a qualified, dependable Pilot / Commercial Roofing Surveyor to join our Estimating Division. This position combines company aircraft operation with hands-on commercial roofing surveys and inspections. The primary responsibility is to travel to project locations throughout the continental United States, complete roof surveys, evaluate existing roofing systems, and gather the measurements, photographs, and project details needed to support accurate estimates and scopes of work.Must reside in the Nashville, TN area.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesOperate JRC-owned aircraft (Bonanza A36 and F33) to travel to project locations throughout the continental United States.Complete roof surveys and inspections of commercial properties, including shingle, tile, metal, and low-slope roofing systems.Access rooftops and interior attic spaces as needed to conduct thorough inspections and gather project information.Obtain accurate measurements, photographs, and other project-specific details.Evaluate existing roof conditions and identify areas requiring repair, maintenance, or replacement.Prepare and submit detailed, accurate survey reports in a timely manner.Plan and coordinate travel schedules, flight planning, and project visits.Communicate professionally with property managers and other customer representatives on site.Work closely with the Estimating and Production departments to ensure project requirements are properly documented.Qualifications & RequirementsCurrent instrument rating.Current FAA medical certificate.Minimum 700 total flight hours.Minimum 100 hours of complex aircraft experience.Minimum 100 hours of retractable landing gear experience.Hands-on construction experience, preferably in commercial roofing (a plus).Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout the United States.Must reside in the Nashville, TN area.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.Strong organizational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.Physical RequirementsAbility to safely access and work on steep-slope and multi-story commercial rooftops.Ability to frequently climb ladders and access attic spaces.Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing over 50 pounds occasionally.Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel repeatedly or for extended periods.Ability to operate inspection tools and equipment requiring regular use of hands and arms.Ability to work at varying heights and in changing weather conditions.BenefitsFull-Time, Hourly PositionCompany-Owned Aircraft for Business Travel$40 Daily Per Diem for TravelMedical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceCompany-Paid Life Insurance401(k) with Company MatchPaid Time OffPaid Holidays
