Oxford Solutions is working with a client seeking an experienced Surveyor for a direct hire, onsite opportunity. This position combines field surveying with office-based survey calculations, documentation, and plan preparation.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience with boundary, topographic, and construction surveying. Civil Engineers with strong field experience and an interest in surveying are also encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Perform boundary, topographic, and construction surveys
- Provide construction stakeout and field layout services
- Perform field data collection and process survey information
- Prepare calculations, cut sheets, and supporting survey documentation
- Research land titles, deeds, plats, and previous survey records
- Conduct job site visits and field inspections
- Assist with preparation and review of survey drawings and site information
- Work with project teams to ensure accurate field layout and survey data
Qualifications
- 3+ years of boundary, topographic, construction, or related surveying experience
- Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Familiarity with GIS software and field data collection systems
- Experience using Total Stations and GPS/GNSS equipment
- Exposure to 3D scanners or similar survey technology preferred
- Ability to perform survey calculations and interpret plans, deeds, and property records
- Comfortable working both in the field and in an office environment
- Civil Engineering background with relevant field experience will also be considered
