    Description

    As Surveyor, you will be playing a critical role in the construction of novel battery chemical plant(s) near Corpus Christi, TX. You will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive survey program. This role is critical to ensuring accurate spatial data, precise alignment, and seamless integration of survey deliverables across all project phases-from initial site development through construction completion and handover.

    • Develop the complete survey program from inception
    • Survey scopes of work, technical specifications, and contract documents for procurement
    • Oversee all survey disciplines including geodetic and topographic surveys, construction staking and layout, as-built surveys and verification, monitoring and deformation surveys
    • Ensure integration of survey data with engineering design models (BIM/CAD) and GIS platforms
    • Evaluate and implement emerging survey technologies to improve efficiency and accuracy
    • Build, lead, and mentor the internal survey team
    • Coordinate survey activities with engineering, construction, and project controls teams
    • Bachelor s Degree in Geomatics or equivalent experience
    • 5+ years of relevant industry experience (heavy industrial, oil & gas, complex chemical plants, refineries)
    • Demonstrated experience developing survey programs for large-scale industrial projects (refineries, petrochemical, LNG, or similar preferred)
    • Experience managing survey operations on projects exceeding $250M in value
    • Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license or equivalent certification preferred
    • Expert knowledge of: total stations, GNSS/GPS systems, and digital levels, survey software (e.g., Leica Infinity, AutoCAD Civil 3D)
    • Strong understanding of coordinate systems, geodetic principles, and survey adjustments
