We are seeking an experienced Survey Manager with a PLS license to oversee surveying operations, projects, field activities, technical deliverables, and survey personnel.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing land surveying projects and teams, along with hands-on knowledge of boundary surveys, topographic surveys, construction surveying, mapping, and survey documentation

Salary: $125,000–$165,000 (DOE)
Key Responsibilities
Manage multiple land surveying projects from initial scope through completion.
Lead and supervise survey teams and field personnel.
Plan and coordinate survey field operations.
Perform and oversee boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, construction, and other land surveys.
Review survey data, field notes, calculations, maps, and technical deliverables.
Ensure survey work meets applicable professional standards and project requirements.
Prepare and review survey plans, maps, legal descriptions, and related documents.
Coordinate surveying activities with civil engineers, planners, architects, project managers, contractors, and clients.
Communicate directly with clients regarding project scope, schedules, deliverables, and technical requirements.
Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to survey staff.
Review field and office survey work for accuracy and completeness.
Support construction staking and construction surveying activities.
Coordinate with municipalities, government agencies, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Assist with proposals, scopes of work, and project estimates.
Maintain quality-control procedures for surveying projects.
Ensure compliance with applicable surveying regulations and professional standards.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or relevant education/experience in surveying, geomatics, civil engineering, or related field.
Active Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license.
Significant professional land surveying experience.
Previous experience managing survey projects and/or survey teams.
Strong knowledge of boundary, topographic, construction, and land development surveying.
Ability to review survey calculations, plans, maps, and technical documents.
Strong knowledge of surveying standards and regulations.
Excellent communication and client-management skills.
Strong organizational and project-management abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
