Advance your civil engineering design career where your work supports impactful land development and infrastructure projects across the Southeast. At Thomas & Hutton, you'll work alongside experienced engineers and designers to develop detailed construction plans and technical drawings for a wide range of commercial, residential, and site development projects. What you bring
Associates Degree in Civil Engineering or Surveying - CST Level I or II (Office) certification preferred.
3+ years of Surveying experience in preparing survey-related deliverables and project management in Construction, Boundaries, and Topographic Surveys.
Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, with Autodesk Civil 3D (v. 2020-2024) and Carlson Software preferred.
Proficient in use of Microstation and OpenRoads is a plus.
Must have boundary and right of way resolution experience.
Knowledge of surveying practices and procedures (Field & Office).
Ability to work 700AM - 530PM Mon-Thursday. 700AM - 1130AM Friday with occasional overtime.
Ability to read and interpret plats deeds, easements and plans.
Must be able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
A valid driver's license is required.
