Summary: Monitor the property using a digital surveillance system to ensure compliance with gaming regulations; maintains shift log & reports suspicious activities. Also responsible for camera installations/moves, routing wires into the video matrix, then into the storage units (servers) which are entirely IP based (analog – matrix – digital). Essential Functions and Responsibilities: - Assist in the training of new hires and participate in all on-going Department training.
- Monitor and report any deviation or issue of non-compliance from the property’s policies and procedures.
- Monitor and report any unusual or suspicious activity in or on the perimeter of the property.
- Monitor and report any unauthorized access to sensitive areas of the property.
- Monitor and report any violation of gaming integrity including cheating at play and suspicious financial transactions.
- Log and respond to radio calls.
- Maintain a log of the routine tasks performed within the Surveillance room and on the gaming floor.
- Observe all internal cash asset transfers and escorts.
- Install new wire, cameras, and software upgrades.
- Configure, and maintain network services, equipment and devices.
- Administer to the matrix, servers and server clusters.
- Manage all system back-up and restore protocol.
- Plans and supports network and computing infrastructure.
- Troubleshooting analysis of servers, workstations and associated systems.
- Documents network problems and resolution for future reference.
- Monitors system performance and implements performance tuning.
- Manage user accounts and permissions.
- Provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members.
