    Overview 
     

    We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Surgical Technologist to join a dynamic healthcare team supporting our ophthalmic surgery center. Must be certified or certification-ready. 

    The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assisting with surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining a sterile environment. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, along with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical setting.  

    Our employees benefit from a four-day workweek, Monday through Thursday. 

    Responsibilities 

    • Assist surgeons and other medical personnel during surgical procedures by providing necessary instruments and supplies. 
    • Prepare and maintain the sterile field, ensuring aseptic technique is followed at all times. 
    • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. 
    • Maintain and track surgical instrument sets and equipment.  
    • Sterilize surgical instruments as needed.  
    • Assist with Inventory and freight management.  

    Qualifications 

    • CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification is required to hold the position. Can be earned soon after starting the job. 
    • Previous experience in a surgical setting or clinic environment is preferred. 
    • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology is essential. 
    • Familiarity with ophthalmology practices and optical experience is a plus. 
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team. 
    • Ability to handle medical records efficiently while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

    Work Details

    Location: In person at 3737 W. Walnut St, Rogers, AR

    Schedule: Monday – Thursday, Start as early as 5am or as late as 7am. 10 hour days.
