Surgical Technologist Full-Time Position
Were looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to join our high-performing surgical team in an ambulatory surgery center. Youll play a vital role in ensuring operating rooms are prepped, sterile, and equipped for surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and set up sterile surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment for procedures
- Assist surgeons and operating room staff during surgeries, ensuring aseptic technique is maintained
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and pass instruments efficiently
- Count sponges, needles, and instruments before and after procedures
- Handle specimens appropriately and ensure accurate labeling
- Clean, disinfect, and restock ORs between procedures
- Collaborate closely with nurses, anesthesia, and sterile processing teams
- Uphold infection control standards and ensure regulatory compliance
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a surgical setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of surgical instrumentation and sterile techniques
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills
