Identifies variances from expected outcomes and responds to changes in patient needs.\n The Surgical Technologist 2 demonstrates knowledge and practice of basic patient care concepts.\n Anticipates the needs of the surgeon, which includes passing instruments, sutures, and other items appropriate to the procedure.\n Serves as a resource in at least 2 specialty areas/procedures.\n May perform additional duties as assigned.\n \nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n Education: High School diploma, GED or equivalent\n Experience: 1 years of Surgical Technologist experience or equivalent\n Certification: Basic Life Support from American Heart Association required upon start.\n License: Registered Surgical Technologist in the Commonwealth of Virginia required upon start\n\n
