Surgical Technologist 13-week assignment Staffing Resource Office

Summary The Surgical Technologist is a member of the health care team who performs technical support in the perioperative period under the direction and supervision of a RN according to accepted clinical standards of care. The Staffing Resource Office (SRO) offers 13-26-week assignments where you are assigned to one hospital in our system. Hospital assignment placement is based on needs of the system.

Minimum Qualifications

• 1-year surgical technology experience in hospital setting with NBSTSA certification
• OR 5 years experience if no certification
• High School or Equivalent
• Technical Diploma or Associates in Surgical Technology
• BLS (Basic Life Support)

Required Skills Also includes knowledge of sterile technique, instrumentation, equipment, and sterile field set-up.
