What You'll Do
- Assist physicians during surgical procedures with competence and professionalism
- Ensure proper handling, maintenance, and disinfection of surgical equipment and supplies
- Maintain the availability of instruments and supplies for procedures
- Support department operations and maintain high-level clinical knowledge
- Adhere to safety and infection control standards
- Perform equipment disinfection and quality control measures on endoscopes
- Provide direct patient care and assist in room turnover activities
What You Need
Required:- Certification in Surgical Technology
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years surgical tech experience
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to exercise good judgement and adapt to changing environments
Preferred:- Experience with endoscope disinfection
- Additional certifications or specialized skills related to surgical procedures
