At Valley Presbyterian Hospital, our surgical team is dedicated to delivering safe, high-quality care. We’re seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist II to support the OR team before, during, and after procedures while maintaining sterile technique and ensuring equipment readiness.

What You’ll Do

• Scrub and assist during surgical procedures in the operating room
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields, instruments, and surgical equipment
• Anticipate surgeon and team needs during procedures
• Ensure strict adherence to aseptic technique and infection control standards
• Prepare appropriate instruments and supplies based on surgical procedures
• Assist with patient preparation and support during perioperative care
• Maintain and monitor surgical equipment and report any issues
• Complete required documentation, logs, and quality reports
• Support patient safety, comfort, and privacy throughout the surgical process
• Participate in quality improvement and regulatory compliance initiatives

What You Bring

• 1+ year of recent acute care experience as a Surgical Technologist preferred
• Strong knowledge of OR procedures, instrumentation, and sterile technique
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Strong attention to detail and patient safety
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
• Current Surgical Technologist Certification (CST)
• AHA BLS certification
• Ability to obtain LA City Fire Card within 30 days
