• Pay Rate: $13.64 $17.64 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Night Shift, 11:00 PM 7:30 AM

Job Summary

This is a Surgical Support Aide position at a major hospital's Main Campus Surgical Services department, working the night shift. The role involves direct physical support of surgical operations including patient transport, room turnover, and lifting heavy items.

Key Responsibilities

• Lift and transport heavy items as required by surgical support operations
• Transport patients within the surgical services environment
• Clean and turn over surgical rooms between procedures

Required Skills

• Surgical Support Technician or Lead experience as outlined in Required Experience
• Customer service skills demonstrated over a minimum of 1 full year

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• AHA (American Heart Association) BLS Certification or equivalent client-approved BLS certification required

Required Experience

• 1 year of Surgical Support Tech I experience, OR 2 years of experience as a Lead
• 1 full year of customer service experience required

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Job requires lifting heavy items
• Transporting patients within the facility
• Cleaning and turning over surgical rooms

• For orientation and the first three weeks of the contract, travelers will be asked to work 1st shift (9:00 AM 5:30 PM) to become familiar with the unit
