This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with nurses, providers, and interdisciplinary team members in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. What You'll DoClinical SupportPrepare patients for surgical and infusion appointments by obtaining and documenting vital signs, height, and weight.Escort and room patients while ensuring comfort, privacy, and excellent customer service.Conduct post-operative follow-up calls and document patient responses in the electronic medical record.Assist with coordinating appointments, referrals, and treatment-related needs for infusion and chemotherapy patients.Verify that infusion and chemotherapy orders are current before scheduled appointments.Stock supplies, prepare patient care areas, and support efficient clinic operations.Serve as a communication liaison between patients, providers, and care teams.Patient Access & Administrative SupportWelcome patients and visitors with professionalism and compassion.Register patients and maintain accurate demographic and insurance information.Verify insurance eligibility and authorization requirements.Schedule surgical, infusion, and follow-up appointments.Answer telephone calls, assist with patient inquiries, and route messages appropriately.Support referral coordination and other patient access functions.Environmental & Department SupportClean and prepare infusion booths and patient care spaces between patients.Follow infection prevention standards to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.Stock treatment areas and maintain organized workspaces.Dispose of waste and linens according to facility policies.Assist with regulatory, safety, and infection control compliance.
