Job Summary:

Methodist Healthcare is seeking an acute care nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our comprehensive vascular surgical program in San Antonio, TX.

Job Details:

• Essential responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and forming treatment plans for a broad spectrum of vascular conditions: 60% inpatient evaluation & rounding/40% outpatient patient care
• Occasional weekend support is needed, but no call requirements
• Full and comprehensive benefits to include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, malpractice insurance
• 401k retirement plan with employer contribution
• Generous PTO plan

Qualified candidates:

• Successful completion of an accredited nurse practitioner or physician assistant program
• Certified Acute Care NP or PA, vascular surgical patient experience a plus
• Texas license eligible
• Current American Heart Association BLS and PALS, and/or ACLS provider

• 25 cath labs
• Five accredited chest pain centers
• Two heart failure clinics
