What Youll Do
- Support orthopedic surgical procedures including total joint replacements, fracture repairs, and arthroscopy
- Assist in the operating room as a first assistant
- Conduct clinic assessments, evaluate radiographs, and develop treatment plans
- Apply casts, splints, and durable medical equipment (DME)
- Perform joint injections and other procedures as required
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Round on patients and provide post-operative care as needed
What You Need
Required:- MN license as PA or NP
- NCCPA certification or PA certification
- BLS certification (within 180 days)
- DEA and CSR licenses
- 1+ year OR experience, orthopedic/sports medicine experience preferred
Preferred:- Experience assisting in orthopedic surgeries
- Knowledge of EPIC Excellian EMR
