Under the supervision of the OR Director, Manager, or Charge Nurse,youlltransport patients, cleanoperatingand treatment rooms,assistwith room turnover between surgical procedures, and restock supplies as instructed. We value flexibility, professionalism, independence, clear communication, and strong customer service skills.This role is an important part of maintaining a well-supported surgical environment for our patients and care teams. Key Responsibilities Transport patients as assigned within the perioperative department. Clean operating rooms, treatment rooms, and other assigned areas of the department. Assistwith room turnover between surgical procedures. Restock supplies as instructed. Work independently while taking direction from the OR Director, Manager, Charge Nurse, and otherappropriate teammembers. Interact professionally with coworkers. Remain flexible and adapt to changing needs within the perioperative environment. Participate in standby and emergency callback responsibilitiesin accordance withRRHs Surgery on-call policy. Collaborative Teamwork This role involves working closely with our team to deliver effective, patient-focused services and contribute to a supportive and collaborative work environment. Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent. One year of clinical experience in an accredited hospital preferred or related experience desired. Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationrequiredwithin three months of hire. Ability to adhere to RRHs Standby and Emergency Callback (Surgery) on-call policy. Ability to work independently. Ability to takedirectionwell and interact professionally with coworkers. Flexible and able to adapt to ever-changing environments. Knowledge of medical terminologypreferred. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to read, write,understandand communicate effectively in the English language. Must be able to put into practice Service Excellence skills with our patients, families, and coworkers.
