What You’ll Do
- Provide expert vascular surgical care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Perform approximately 90 vascular procedures monthly, including arterial bypasses, AAA repairs, thoracic and open aortic work
- Lead preoperative planning and intraoperative decision-making for complex vascular cases
- Conduct inpatient rounding, triage urgent cases, and participate in ER call coverage for emergencies
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team including surgeons, APPs, nurses, and technicians
- Educate patients regarding surgical options and postoperative care protocols
- Ensure clinical documentation aligns with hospital standards and guidelines
What You Need
- Active medical license in Louisiana (or eligibility, preferred)
- Board Certified or eligible in Vascular Surgery
- Significant experience with vascular procedures such as arterial bypasses, AAA repairs, thoracic work
- Strong understanding of preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative vascular care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Excellent communication skills and commitment to patient safety
