What You’ll Do
- Provide support in inpatient cardiothoracic surgery cases, including open-heart procedures and robotic thoracic surgeries
- Assist with procedures such as CABG, TAVR, LVAD, and Impella placements
- Collaborate closely with a specialized advanced heart failure team
- Perform endoscopic vein harvesting and act as 1st assist during surgeries
- Document procedures accurately using EPIC EMR system
- Participate in patient care planning and post-operative management
What You Need
Required:- Board Certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant
- NC State License and DEA Certification
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in cardiothoracic surgery
- Experience with EPIC EMR system
- Endoscopic vein harvesting skills
- Vaccinations as per policy
Preferred:- Experience with LVAD and Impella device placements
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
