What Youll Do
- Assist with cardiothoracic surgeries, including CABGs, robotic thoracic/chest cases, open surgeries, and TAVR valve procedures
- Support the advanced heart failure team with LVAD and Impella device placements
- Perform endoscopic vein harvesting and act as a first assist during surgeries
- Document procedures and patient care using EPIC EMR system
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Support patient management in a high-volume, adult patient population
What You Need
- Required: North Carolina State License, DEA certification, Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies
- Required: 2+ years of experience in cardiothoracic surgery, endoscopic vein harvesting skills
- Preferred: Experience with robotic thoracic cases and LVAD/Impella placements
- Key Skills: Strong surgical assist capabilities, excellent documentation skills, team collaboration
