What You’ll Do:
- Assist in adult cardiothoracic surgeries, including CABG, valve repairs, aortic procedures, and emergent dissections
- Support complex procedures like maze, redo sternotomies, and mechanical circulatory support
- Collaborate with a team of 5 cardiac surgeons and intensivists in a high-volume academic hospital
- Provide perioperative care and assist in operative procedures
- Access and utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient management
- Participate in call coverage and responding to emergency cases as scheduled
What You Need:
Required:- Missouri RN license
- BLS certification
- 2+ years of adult cardiac surgery OR first assist experience
- Ability to work night shifts and flexible scheduling
Preferred:- Certification as RNFA
- Experience with advanced cardiac procedures and complex thoracic cases
