What You’ll Do

• Provide advanced practice support in urgent cardiac surgeries, including vein harvesting.
• Support a team of APPs in managing postoperative care and patient monitoring.
• Assist during emergencies from cath lab to surgery, with patient transfer from ICU to home.
• Participate in 24-hour call coverage every weekend, ensuring continuous patient support.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons and medical staff to deliver high-quality care.
• Document patient interactions and procedures using EPIC EMR.
• Support patient management from hospital admission through discharge, adhering to protocol.

What You Need

• Pennsylvania Nurse Practitioner license
• DEA registration
• Minimum 3 years of experience in cardiothoracic surgery or acute care setting
• Strong ability to perform vein harvesting procedures
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
