Surety Client Administrator - Insurance Agency - Base Salary to 80k/year - San Diego, CA

• Our client, an established independent insurance brokerage and risk management firm, is seeking a Surety Client Administrator to support the servicing and administration of surety bond accounts. This position will process bond requests, maintain surety documentation, coordinate approvals, manage bond-related invoicing, and support ongoing client and surety carrier requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Process surety bond requests and prequalification (PQ) letters
• Obtain bond approvals within Aggregate Limit of Authority (ALOA) guidelines and communicate conditions of approval
• Prepare and process routine surety bond transactions, including bond endorsements, consents, renewals, closing documents, and related servicing requests
• Track bond status inquiries, bid results, and subcontract bond authentication
• Coordinate bond execution and notarization requirements
• Administer surety department invoicing, monitor aging, and assist with maintaining current accounts
• Maintain client, bond, and surety carrier servicing documentation
• Coordinate surety company requirements necessary to process bonds and related documentation

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience in insurance or surety bonds
• Experience supporting surety bond administration, bond processing, or insurance client service

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 60k - 80k/year range plus team bonuses, excellent health insurance, 401k, profit sharing, bonuses for earning designations, educational reimbursement, PTO, Paid holidays, etc. In office training and then switching to remote or hybrid.
