    Are you looking to expand your medical office experience? Dayton Physicians Network is looking to add a Support Associate - Front Office to our independently owned Urology practice!

    Summary:

    The Front Office Support Associate provides support to all functions within the medical office. Duties to include, but are not limited to: answer and route incoming calls; patient check in and out; collect co-payments/deductibles; update patient demographic information, schedule appointments; pull, file, scan medical records; various administrative tasks as required.

    Schedule:

    Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, eight hour shifts

    No evenings, weekends or holidays!

    At times, this position could float to our Englewood office location as needed.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Answer and route incoming calls;
    • Obtains, verifies and updates patient demographic information;
    • Collects and records co-payments and/or deductibles;
    • Verifies charts contain all necessary paperwork;
    • Schedules return appointments, as required;
    • Scans medical records for EMR as needed or requested;
    • Ensures patient waiting area is free from trash and clutter;
    • Assists other office support positions as needed or requested;
    • Follow all health care privacy and safety rules and adheres to Dayton Physicians Core Values;
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Required Education and/ or Experience:

    Requires a High School Diploma or GED. At least one (1) year of previous experience working in a Medical Office or administrative position, 2-3 years' experience is preferred.

    General Skill Requirements:

    • Excellent oral and written communication
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
    • Experience working with a Practice Management system.
    • Attendance and punctuality are essential requirements of this position to provide excellent customer service to both our internal and external stakeholders.
