Overview

Supply Warehouse Lead (SWFPAC 2026-25331):

Bowhead seeks a Supply Warehouse Lead at the Strategic Weapons Facility Pacific (SWFPAC) and Marine Corps Security Battalion (MCSFBn) logistics department.

Please note, this position is contingent upon contract award. No third party applications or submissions will be considered.

Responsibilities

Essential functions will include: 

  • Manages the receipt, storage, and distribution of organizational clothing, tactical gear, repair parts, and facility equipment supporting strategic weapons platforms and security forces.
  • Assigns, supervises, and reviews the daily work of warehouse clerks, forklift operators, and material handlers.
  • Direct periodic, cyclic, and wall-to-wall physical inventories to maintain a 98% or higher stock accountability rate.
  • Oversee systemic transactions within Navy and Marine Corps logistics databases, processing receipts, issues, and transfers.
  • Plan layout configurations to maximize storage efficiency and ensure compliance with OSHA and military safety rules.
  • Inspect incoming shipments for damage, verify documentation, and resolve overages, shortages, and discrepancies (OS&D).
  • Coordinate the staging and timely delivery of high-priority parts and gear to operational units and security checkpoints.
  • Ensure all material handling equipment (MHE) undergoes daily safety pre-checks and scheduled preventive maintenance.
  • Provide comprehensive warehouse management, inventory management, inspection, and assessment of CBR gear for approximately five hundred and eighty (580) Navy MAA personnel.
  • Perform warehouse management functions to include: receipt inspection, assessment, and issuance of CBR gear and associated materials, supplies and equipment.
  • Maintain a 100% accountability of all incoming materials.
  • Maintain a 95% accountability of all CBR Gear Report all inventories discrepancies to designated Technical Assistant (TA) and COR.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent (GED) Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred in supply chain management or logistics.
  • Minimum two years’ experience in warehouse management, tracking equipment and materials in multiple locations, issuing, receipt, and disposition of equipment and material
  • Minimum 1 year in a team lead, lead clerk, or supervisory role.
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing standard enterprise resource planning (ERP) databases, warehouse management systems (WMS), or military supply systems and .

    material handling equipment

  • Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.

  • Ability to understand, speak, read, and write the English language.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees, Government Representative, and outside contacts.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.

  • Valid driver’s license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record.

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged period amounts of time.
  • Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically.
  • High noise levels are common as is the potential exposure to heat/cold, noise, dusts, mist, and/or fumes.

Security Requirements: Must be able to maintain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
