Summary
The Jr. Supply Planner and Schedule is responsible for proactively maintaining and continuously improving the production schedule. Perform all duties to ensure the departmental schedules are accurate and communicated to all relevant departments to drive short term execution of plans. Ensure all schedules are created respecting existing labor and asset capacities and achievable based on planned material availabilities. Drive timely resolution of all scheduling conflicts with relevant stakeholders. Responsible for creation and management of new part set-up, recipe, and Bill of Material (BOM) process and any other associated data objects. This role manages any changes in the ERP (SAP) system and works to improve processes related to new part-set up. Providing hands-on support to SAP users in pursuit of material master data accuracy and consistency is a key element to this role.

Key Accountabilities
  • Creation and modification of BOMs, Recipes, resources, COA Profiles, Inspection Plans & Inspection Characteristics in SAP.
  • Ensure SOPs related to new part set-up, BOM, recipe creations are up to date and usable.
  • Responsible for deactivation/reactivation and discontinuation of parts in the ERP system.
  • Responsible for changes required within the SAP system.
  • Partner with finance to ensure Bill of Materials are entered correctly into financial system (SAP)
  • Monitor the progress of approval workflow to ensure that all materials move through the designated approval streams to meet GMP requirements
  • Create, track and maintain the short-term schedules to provide visibility to defined departments to drive short term execution of plans
  • Drive optimization of schedules by balancing demand priorities against optimal production sequencing and efficient resource (facility/suite, equipment, staff, materials etc.) utilization
  • Ensure all feedback regarding changes to existing plans is incorporated into schedules in timely manner
  • Maintain detailed planning and scheduling parameters in planning system to allow optimal use of system scheduling functionality
  • Generate relevant KPI and operational measures to support identification of trends or root causing sub optimal performance
  • Maintain accurate production schedule, providing data for the MRP process to meet production demands
  • Review documents such as production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel and materials requirements, and material priorities
  • Monitor production data, including volume produced, consumption of raw materials, and quality control measures, using this information for Continuous Improvement activities such as maintenance of routings and BOM s, increasing accuracy of production schedule and efficiency reporting
  • Track, report and facilitate on-time material availability including testing and release for shipment/customers
  • Analytical thinking with the ability to adapt constantly with composure and resiliency even if you don t have 100% of the information and can make educated assumptions
  • Able to look for patterns/trends in a data set
  • Strong active listener due to the high-volume flow of communication
  • Adhere to all defined Safety and Sustainability requirements and expectations and seek clarification whenever Safety and Sustainability requirements and expectations are either unknown or unclear
  • Promptly report identified Safety and Sustainability issues, problems, deficiencies, errors, incidents, and/or opportunities to management and correct where possible
  • Stop work where deemed necessary to maintain safety

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree Engineering or Science
  • Minimum years of experience 3 years
