Supply Planner

Responsibilities: The primary goal for the Raw Material Planner is to bring in the right product inventory levels at the right time to support production schedule needs while achieving working capital targets. Ensure the availability of raw materials to meet Oracle timing requirements and adhere to the short-term weekly production schedule needs by anticipating and mitigating any raw material delays.

Our Client, a Coatings and Paints company, is looking for a Supply Planner for their Oak Creek¸ WI location.
 
Responsibilities:

• The primary goal for the Raw Material Planner is to bring in the right product inventory levels at the right time to support production schedule needs while achieving working capital targets.
• Raw Materials planner will focus on the procurement and inventory management of raw materials, and vendor relationship management.
• Place purchase orders with vendors and track delivers throughout the ordering cycle and evaluate inventory projections over a rolling 12-month period.
• Analyze MRP and/or action messages for procurement of supply chain requirements with the focus being short to medium term (1 to 6 months).
• Communicate and escalate any supply concerns and collaborate with supply chain operations teams, and/or procurement from discovery through resolution.
• Ensure the availability of raw materials to meet Oracle timing requirements and adhere to the short-term weekly production schedule needs by anticipating and mitigating any raw material delays.
• Work with the warehouse, purchasing, or supplier quality teams to resolve receipt and/or invoicing related problems or incoming RM quality issues.
• Responsible for maintaining assigned raw material items inventory health to achieve goals.
• Fast pace coating industry while working cross functional teams
