Job Title: Supply Management Planner I
Client: Heavy Machine Manufacturing Company
Location: Waterloo, IA 50704
Duration: 12 Months (Possible Extension/Conversion)
Shift: 1st Shift – 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Job Summary
Manage purchased-parts delivery and supplier schedules while supporting inventory, logistics, and supply management activities. The role involves daily communication with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely material availability.
Key Responsibilities
· Communicate with suppliers regarding schedule releases.
· Manage delivery of purchased parts for internal and external suppliers.
· Schedule purchased materials based on: Economic order quantities, Optimal inventory levels, Delivery requirements, Material replenishment
· Support optimal logistics and material management processes.
· Monitor supplier logistics performance.
· Investigate supplier/material issues and recommend solutions.
· Perform routine inventory control and verify quantity, quality, and availability.
· Collect and analyze cost, market, supplier, and logistics information.
· Support contract performance reviews and negotiations.
· Identify opportunities for process and operational improvements.
· Support Supply Management Specialists and stakeholder activities.
Required Skills
· Strong communication skills.
· Good typing and computer skills.
· Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
· Planning and organizing.
· Data collection and analysis.
· Procurement/supply management.
· Reporting and review.
· Ability to manage supplier and material-related issues.
Preferred Qualifications
· 4-year degree in Business, Supply Management, or related field.
· SAP experience.
· Recent graduates are welcome to apply.
Education
Post-secondary education preferred.
