Supply Chain Technician - Level 3 Shipping & Receiving

Job Title: Supply Chain Technician – Level 3, Shipping & Receiving
Duration: 6+ Month Contract
Location: Solon, OH (R&D Site)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM

Must have a safe driving record and a valid, current, clean Ohio Driver’s License and experience driving a box truck (CDL is not required) or ability to learn.

Job Summary

Support the Client’s Site Operations team with shipping, receiving, material handling, and supply activities to ensure timely availability of materials for R&D trials.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate shipment pickups and deliveries with trucking companies.
• Monitor cooler/freezer and storage area temperatures.
• Receive, organize, break down, and repackage materials for point-of-use requirements.
• Troubleshoot supply and delivery issues and provide ingredient information to project teams.
• Support purchasing, domestic/international shipping, and warehouse activities.
• Operate box trucks, pallet jacks, and lift equipment as required.
• Follow all food safety, quality, environmental, and workplace safety procedures.
• Support site meetings, audits, and other Client initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Warehouse, food manufacturing, or culinary experience preferred.
• Valid, clean Ohio Driver’s License and box truck driving experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain motorized pallet jack/tow motor certification.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; ability to learn warehouse management systems.
• Comfortable working in physically demanding conditions and extreme temperatures.
• Flexible to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
