Volt is immediately hiring forSupply Chain Supportfor a leading aerospace and defense manufacturer in Lenexa KS.As Supply Chain Support you will Partner with suppliers to increase engagement with an online supplier portal and help ensure established requirements are being followed. Guide new and existing supplier users through portal setup onboarding training and ongoing system support. Investigate challenges preventing suppliers from effectively using the portal and coordinate solutions with the appropriate teams. Serve as a point of contact for suppliers answering questions and helping resolve issues that may impact adoption or compliance. Create and maintain basic project plans monitor key activities and track progress against established goals. Gather review and verify master data associated with non-contract parts to help maintain accurate system information. Compile lead-time information and prepare review materials for Interiors leadership. Maintain regular communication with suppliers regarding open items expectations and required follow-up. Monitor supplier progress and prepare weekly status updates highlighting activity outstanding issues and results. Adjust working hours when necessary to support supplier contacts operating across different schedules or time zones. This is a full time opportunity.The ideal candidate will haveRequired Skills & Qualifications Military or Department of Defense DoD purchasing procurement buying or supply chain experience is required. Experience working with suppliers or vendors in a purchasing procurement supply chain or related environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work directly with external suppliers and internal stakeholders. Ability to train and support users with business systems supplier portals or other technology-based processes. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple supplier activities and follow-up items simultaneously. Experience collecting reviewing and validating supply chain or purchasing data for accuracy. Ability to identify process or system challenges and coordinate corrective actions. Ability to track projects action items and progress toward established goals. Flexibility to adjust working hours when supplier communication requires alternate scheduling. Preferred Skills & Qualifications Experience supporting supplier onboarding supplier enablement supplier performance or vendor management activities. Familiarity with supplier portals procurement systems ERP platforms or similar supply chain technology. Experience working with master data part information supplier data or lead-time management. Experience preparing status reports metrics or progress updates for leadership. Experience within aerospace defense manufacturing or a similarly complex supply chain environment.
