The Opportunity That Awaits You:

As part of the Strategic Sourcing group, the Supply Chain Specialist will support strategic sourcing initiatives by assisting with supplier selection activities, including RFI/RFQ preparation, bid analysis, supplier evaluations, and cross-functional reviews both in New Product Introduction and Operations. The specialist will gather and analyze information related to supplier capabilities, cost, quality, lead time, capacity, and risk to support sourcing recommendations and supplier selection decisions. This position is responsible for supporting the procurement of materials, services, equipment, and supplies used in the manufacture of medical devices for both new product development and/or sustaining activities. The Supply Chain Specialist will develop and maintain supplier metrics and assist in creating automated reports, dashboards, and performance measures that support the broader supply chain organization. The role will also manage and optimize processes for data intake, validation, analysis, modeling, visualization, and communication

What Your Day-To-Day Will Involve:

Work with PROCEPT R&D and/or Operations team and provide visibility by:

  • Assist with strategic sourcing and supplier selection activities, including RFQ preparation, supplier data collection, quotation analysis, bid comparisons, and cross-functional supplier reviews.
  • Gather, organize, and analyze information related to supplier capabilities, cost, quality, delivery, lead time, capacity, and risk to support sourcing recommendations and supplier selection decisions.
  • Establish strategic supplier relationships and governance.
  • Negotiating competitive commercial and development agreements.
  • Developing custom reporting & dashboards using Tableau, Excel, Smartsheet, Visio, QAD, AI & other platforms
  • Support the design, implementation, and management of information reporting systems
  • Investigating data analytics problems, finding root causes, and suggesting solutions
  • Assists departments with following purchasing procedures, as well as following up on their orders to ensure that deliveries are timely.
  • Prepares reports, spreadsheets and other related documentation as directed.
  • Assists and/or issues purchase order follow-up to ensure on-time deliveries and correct pricing, terms, and specifications.
  • Assists in maintaining part and inventory status reports for new products and/or projects.
  • Maintain trained status for, and comply with, all relevant aspects of the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality Management System to ensure product and support regulatory compliance.
  • Understand and adhere to the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality & EHS Policies
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required or assigned.

The Qualifications We Need You to Possess

  • 2-4 years experience working in supply chain, business, or engineering related fields preferred.
  • Minimum High School Diploma, or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering, Science or related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Experience in Excel managing data with advanced formulas and functions.
  • Ability to be nimble and problem-solve with an entrepreneurial attitude.
  • Adeptness at working in a fast-paced corporate headquarters office setting.
  • Flexible and proactive problem solver adept at achieving results in a team-oriented and collaborative environment, and the ability to work independently when required.
  • Experience with responding to multiple requests and the ability to prioritize.
  • Fast learner and strong attention to detail.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office suite skills, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Pay Range for this role:

$88,750 to $104,410
