    Job Summary

    The Supply Chain Services Supervisor supervises and directs supply chain staff to meet safety, productivity, and quality goals. This role ensures consistent and efficient delivery of supplies and services to facility departments. It also oversees the semi-annual inventory of warehouse/General Stores and facility supply areas.

    Essential Functions of the Role

    • Supervises assigned staff, responsible for hiring, firing, evaluations, training, work allocation, and problem resolution. Monitors, corrects, and performs employee time and payroll.
    • Handles escalated issues from staff and decides on a resolution method. Determines if it should be escalated further to management.
    • Performs leadership role in all warehouse/General Stores processes.
    • Ensures efficiencies in logistics and processes. Identifies new opportunities for efficiencies and provides feedback to management.
    • Identifies, reports, and communicates to management trends and/or irregularities.
    • Evaluates deficiencies and develops plans to correct.
    • Participates in the development of short and long-range goals for the department including budget, staffing, and systems requirements.
    • Participates in special projects involving continuous improvement both inside and outside area(s) of direct responsibility.
    • Oversees delivery process of supplies to customer departments.
    • Maintains orderly and organized work area to facilitate efficient processes.
    • Evaluates and resolves all necessary Lawson inventory control and open receiving reports.
    • Oversees accurate documentation of supply distribution tracking for volumes and trends.

    Key Success Factors

    • At least 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred

    • Experience in healthcare supply chain, warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics, or materials management strongly preferred

    • Experience supporting procedural and clinical areas such as OR, Cath Lab, Endoscopy, or Nursing Units strongly preferred

    • Lean, process improvement, or project leadership experience strongly preferred

    • Knowledge of healthcare inventory best practices, PAR management, cycle counting, and product standardization initiatives strongly preferred

    • Experience with inventory management systems, preferably Tecsys, Lawson, and Ivalua strongly preferred

    • Administrative and planning skills.

    • Ability to work in a team environment.

    • Ability to supervise, train, and motivate employees.

    • Leadership, problem-solving and outcome-making skills.

    • Verbal and written communication skills.

    • Data-based skills.

    • Exceptional customer service skills.

    • EDUCATION - H.S. Diploma/GED Equivalent
