Supply Chain & Procurement Coordinator
Role Overview
Application
Responsible for coordinating the procurement of various supplies, materials and parts to support production, operations, engineering and maintenance across Tegra factories in the US.
Reviews and analyzes procurement requirements and places orders, accordingly, using appropriate systems.
Works with other department personnel, such as Production, Quality Assurance, Engineering, etc. to resolve defective or unacceptable goods, document future requirements or technical needs.
Assists Supply Planning Director with administrative support and processes related to procurement activities including receipt and recordation of responses to procurement actions.
Maintains positive relations with existing suppliers, and contacts suppliers regarding material problems, such as delayed receipt, poor quality, wrong items, etc., and resolves issues.
Assists with weekly, monthly and annual reports, requiring accurate record-keeping and attention to detail.
Assists Supply Planning Director ensuring delivery of supplies and equipment in a timely, efficient and effective manner.
Reviews and verifies subsequent invoices for accuracy, confirming accurate terms and delivery dates, and other procurement duties as assigned.
Works with Accounts Payable to ensure timely payment of conforming materials received and return/rework of materials that are defective.
Approves invoices for payment.
Provides support to the Procurement/Inventory Management team as needed.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
Must have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management skills.
Requires strong follow-up and follow-thru skills.
Must have proficient skills in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
Working familiarity with MS Access preferred (or willingness to learn).
Ability to work with all levels of internal and external customers rendering excellent customer service and completing tasks in a timely manner.
Must be flexible and have ability to pivot in daily activities to support at once requests.
Must work well in a team environment and be able to be independent.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must have excellent attendance and have some flexibility in hours (start time, end time and overtime).
In office role (not a remote position).
Education/Certificate Requirements
Proven and documented skills in MS programs (especially Excel with familiarity programming basic formulas).
1-2 years of experience in a purchasing position.
Some experience interfacing directly with customers.
