We are seeking an experienced Warehouse / Order Fulfillment Supervisor to lead a second-shift distribution team for a well-established organization in Burlington, NC.
This is a great opportunity for a hands-on warehouse leader who enjoys developing employees, improving performance, and keeping a fast-paced distribution operation running safely and efficiently.
The Supervisor will lead a team of 7 Order Selectors and 1 Team Lead supporting both ambient and refrigerated/frozen warehouse areas.

Sunday – Thursday
- Sunday, Monday, Wednesday & Thursday: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- Tuesday: 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead, coach, and develop Order Fulfillment employees and the existing Team Lead.
- Oversee second-shift warehouse and outbound distribution operations.
- Conduct shift meetings and team huddles.
- Monitor productivity, order accuracy, mispicks, and overall team performance.
- Ensure outbound shipments are accurately selected, staged, and loaded.
- Utilize the warehouse management system and RF/scanner technology to manage order fulfillment.
- Maintain a strong focus on warehouse safety and compliance.
- Interview, hire, train, and develop second-shift employees.
- Manage employee performance, attendance, PTO, payroll approvals, and disciplinary actions.
- Partner with other supervisors and supply chain leadership to improve warehouse processes.
- Provide hands-on support to the operation when needed.
What We're Looking For
- Previous warehouse or distribution leadership experience.
- Strong people leadership, coaching, and employee-development skills.
- Experience supervising order selectors, pickers, warehouse associates, or similar employees.
- Foodservice distribution, grocery distribution, cold storage, or refrigerated/frozen warehouse experience strongly preferred.
- Experience working in both ambient and cooler/freezer environments preferred.
- Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS), RF scanners, or similar order-selection technology.
- Strong understanding of productivity, order accuracy, safety, and outbound shipping.
- Comfortable being visible and hands-on on the warehouse floor.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
The facility includes ambient, cooler, loading-dock, and freezer areas, with temperatures ranging from approximately 70°F down to 0°F.
Compensation & Benefits
- $60,000–$64,000 base salary
- 10% annual bonus potential
- Two weeks PTO during the first year
- Three weeks PTO after the first anniversary
- Benefits eligibility beginning the first of the month following 30 days of employment
