Our North American operations are growing, offering a collaborative, fast-paced environment where employees have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact and growth together with the company.Position Summary: Supply Chain (SC) Manager oversees the daily activities in the Material Control/Supply Chain department for the VA plant, and is responsible for analyzing, reporting, tracking, and auditing purchasing data and inventory, while ensuring materials meet daily production needs. This role requires strong warehouse/inventory management and purchasing experience, along with team supervision skills.Key Responsibilities: Manage the inventory and warehousing activities by effectively forecasting material demands, stock levels, re-order points and resources capacity ensuring product availabilityMaintain and update e-procurement computerized system and prepare status reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basisBuild and develop relationships with other departments (Production, R&D) while ensuring compliance in all areas as specified by company policies and proceduresManage receiving details and implement corrective actions for dispute resolutionEnsure accurate and timely receipts of invoices and purchase ordersMaintain and/or implements purchasing and recordkeeping systemsManage and guide the team to achieve the department goalsPropose or suggest the improvement or solution to reduce the variances of theoretical inventory and actual inventoryReview and approve timecards for the department daily and control department overtime weeklyAdditional Responsibilities:Assist VA plant manager and Head of Procurement as neededPerform other duties as assigned.The Company reserves the right to modify, add, or remove duties and responsibilities of this role as needed to meet business requirements.Qualifications: RequiredBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; or an Associate Degree combined with relevant work experienceMinimum 5 years of experiences of warehouse and inventory managementMinimum 5 years of managerial or supervisory experienceMinimum 5 years of experience using ERP systems for purchasing and inventoryAbility to understanding work instructions in English, both oral and writtenMust be able to work Tuesday evenings for weekly inventoryMust be able to work overtime and weekends as neededKnowledge and experience of Lean principles and practicesKnowledge of inventory and supply chain managementExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesComplex problem identification and resolution skills Strong leadership skills to lead team and motivate employees Time management and task prioritization skillsActively listens and communicates clearly and effectively in both verbal and written forms, adapting to the audience as neededAbility to work onsite (remote work is not an option)MS office proficiency Hands-on work ethicFlexible mindset with the ability to adapt to change and learn quicklyApplicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis at the time the employment begins and must not require sponsorship for employment visa status.
