    Job Summary:

    The Supply Chain Manager oversees and manages overall supply chain operations for the company, including purchasing and inventory of materials as well as selection of vendors.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    ·         Responsible for quality, delivery, and cost of procured materials.

    ·         Create Strategic Supplier Purchase Agreements.

    ·         Consolidate requisitions to obtain leverage pricing with strong focus on raw materials & outside suppliers.

    ·         Monitor monthly budget and take action to realign business plan when possible.

    ·         Assist in the development of forecast/requirements.

    ·         Effective communication of changes in pricing and availability that make and produce cost-prohibitive lead times detrimental to production cycles.

    ·         Direct and manage the organization’s overall supply chain operation, including purchasing and inventory of raw materials.

    ·         Develop and implement strategic plan to improve pricing, productivity, quality and efficiency of outside operations.

    ·         Improve purchasing and supply chain management ability to contribute to the company’s strategic plan.

    Job Qualifications:

    ·         BS degree in Business (Supply Chain specialization preferred) or relative experience

    ·     10 years demonstrated experience in manufacturing and raw material procurement.

    ·         APICS Certification or CPIM strongly recommended

    ·         Strong experience with MRP systems.

    ·         Ability to read technical drawings preferred.

    ·         Experience in Material Planning role with heavy emphasis on procurement raw materials.

    ·         Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Access, Word).

    ·         Demonstrated negotiation skills.

    ·         Organizational and inter-personal skills, including conflict resolution.

    ·         Ability to identify procedural and internal control weaknesses, suggest and implement solutions.

    ·         Multi-tasking and prioritization skills.

    ·         Extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

    ·         Commitment to company values.
