The Packaging Engineering group in Supply Chain is responsible for the reliable and efficient flow of all production materials to Tesla's factories and Service locations. The returnable packaging team is managing packaging assets that are used to move parts between suppliers and Tesla factories. As Program Manager, you will have end-to-end responsibility for returnable packaging operations. You will develop business cases to justify Capex investments, launch new packaging programs, and ensure operational success of the packaging fleet. This is a strategic supply chain role, interacting with suppliers, Finance, Material Planning, Logistics, Global Supply Management, Packaging Engineering, and Production Control to ensure returnable packaging programs are running at best efficiency for packaging cost optimization.
Flexibility and adaptability are key attributes needed for success in this role. Candidate should have strong analytical, project management and leadership skills to handle a variety of activities and complexities spanning the organization. Candidates should be willing to work at both a very detailed and strategic level.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Supply Chain/Logistics processes and related IT solutions.

$88,000 - $132,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
