Supply Chain Manager, Mechanical

Related Digital is seeking a Supply Chain Manager – Mechanical to lead the planning, execution, and delivery assurance of mechanical Owner-Furnished Contractor-Installed (OFCI) equipment across our growing data center portfolio.

This role serves as the primary owner of mechanical infrastructure supply chain execution, providing end-to-end visibility into equipment demand, manufacturing progress, integration activities, logistics readiness, delivery commitments, supplier performance, and operational readiness. The position is responsible for ensuring critical mechanical infrastructure is delivered safely, reliably, and in alignment with project objectives, commissioning requirements, and portfolio delivery schedules.

The Supply Chain Manager – Mechanical will work closely with Procurement, Development, Design, Construction, OEM partners, Integrators, Trade Contractors, Commissioning teams, White Space Fit-Out teams, and Operations to proactively identify risks, drive accountability across external partners, and ensure mechanical infrastructure is available when and where it is required.

OFCI Planning & Execution

• Lead execution of mechanical OFCI equipment programs across the project portfolio.
• Maintain visibility into equipment demand, sourcing activities, manufacturing schedules, and delivery commitments.
• Coordinate equipment planning activities with Procurement, Development, Design, and Construction teams.
• Support the development and execution of portfolio-level delivery strategies for critical mechanical infrastructure.

Portfolio Standardization & Program Development

• Support the development and implementation of portfolio-wide standards governing mechanical OFCI equipment planning, manufacturing visibility, FAT/FWT execution, logistics management, integrator coordination, commissioning readiness, and turnover activities.
• Drive consistency in equipment tracking, reporting, milestone management, and risk identification across all projects.
• Partner with Procurement, Design, Construction, Commissioning, and Operations teams to identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and scalability.
• Support development of preferred supplier, preferred integrator, and standard equipment strategies that improve predictability, reduce complexity, and enhance execution performance.
• Capture lessons learned and continuously refine supply chain processes, tools, and operating procedures to improve portfolio outcomes.
• Support development of repeatable reporting, dashboards, metrics, and governance mechanisms that provide leadership with consistent visibility across all projects.
• Promote adoption of best practices, workflow automation, AI-enabled analytics, and digital solutions that improve efficiency, forecasting accuracy, and decision making.

Manufacturer & Integrator Management

• Serve as the primary business contact for mechanical OEMs, manufacturers, suppliers, and integrators.
• Monitor performance against contractual commitments, project schedules, and manufacturing milestones.
• Lead supplier and Integrator performance discussions, issue resolution activities, and recovery planning efforts.
• Drive accountability across external partners to ensure successful project execution.

Manufacturing Visibility & Delivery Assurance

• Maintain visibility in manufacturing schedules, production milestones, and equipment readiness activities.
• Track equipment status through fabrication, assembly, testing, integration, logistics, and project delivery.
• Identify production constraints and develop mitigation plans before project milestones are impacted.
• Provide leadership with timely and accurate visibility into schedule risks and delivery performance.

FAT/FWT & Quality Readiness

• Coordinate Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Factory Witness Testing (FWT) activities.
• Ensure equipment testing activities align with project schedules and commissioning objectives.
• Support issue management, corrective action planning, and quality related recovery activities.
• Verify testing documentation and readiness requirements prior to shipment.

Logistics & Site Readiness

• Coordinate equipment logistics activities from factory through final delivery.
• Support transportation planning, site delivery readiness, and installation sequencing.
• Monitor equipment movements and maintain visibility into critical delivery milestones.
• Ensure project teams have the information required to execute installation activities efficiently.

Commissioning & Operational Readiness

• Coordinate equipment readiness activities supporting commissioning schedules.
• Partner with Commissioning teams, Integrators, and Operations to support turnover readiness.
• Ensure mechanical OFCI equipment packages are fully integrated, documented, tested, and prepared for operational handoff.
• Support close-out activities and transition into Operations.

Risk Management & Reporting

• Maintain visibility into manufacturing, integration, logistics, schedule, and delivery risks.
• Develop and maintain mitigation plans for identified supply chain constraints.
• Provide regular status reporting and executive level visibility into equipment readiness and project risks.
• Escalate design, construction, critical supplier, integrator, manufacturing, or logistics challenges as required.

Stakeholder Management

• Establish strong working relationships across Design, Development, Construction, Procurement, OEM partners, Integrators, Suppliers, Trade Contractors, Commissioning, White Space Fit-Out, and Operations teams.
• Act as a central coordination point between internal stakeholders and external delivery partners.
• Facilitate alignment around project priorities, schedules, risks, and readiness activities.

Technology, Analytics & Continuous Improvement

• Support the development and deployment of AI-enabled analytics, workflow automation, and reporting capabilities designed to improve forecasting accuracy, increase supply chain visibility, accelerate risk identification, and support data-driven decision making.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives intended to enhance manufacturing visibility, delivery performance, integrator coordination, and portfolio readiness.
• Leverage reporting tools and analytics platforms to improve transparency and decision-making across the supply chain function.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, procurement, vendor management, project delivery, construction, commissioning, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years supporting mission critical infrastructure, data center, industrial, utility, semiconductor, manufacturing, or similarly complex construction programs.
• Demonstrated experience managing OFCI equipment through procurement, manufacturing, testing, logistics, delivery, installation, and turnover.
• Experience working directly with manufacturers, suppliers, integrators, and third-party service providers.
• Experience operating in high growth environments requiring scalable processes, systems, and operating models.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI), Large Language Models (LLMs), workflow automation, and advanced analytics to improve forecasting accuracy, increase operational efficiency, enhance supply chain visibility, automate business processes, and support data-driven decision making.
• Strong understanding of data center mechanical infrastructure including switchgear, generators, UPS systems, transformers, medium voltage systems, busway, protection systems, and related equipment.
• Experience supporting FAT/FWT activities and commissioning readiness processes.
• Strong communication, leadership, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

• Data center industry experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience supporting hyperscale, colocation, mission critical, utility, industrial, semiconductor, or advanced manufacturing projects.
• Experience managing supplier performance and delivery assurance across multiple concurrent projects.
• Professional certifications such as CPSM, CSCP, CSCMP, PMP, CCM, or equivalent.
• Advanced proficiency with AI, LLMs, Procore, CxAlloy, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Smartsheet, and related reporting platforms.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to manufacturers, integrators, suppliers, project sites, testing facilities, and emerging markets as required.
