Key job responsibilities
A day in the life
The Middle Mile Network Design Manager will establish optimization mechanisms to track network performance, lane efficiency, and sort point utilization metrics, while implementing process improvements and automation.
They will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including Finance, Operations, Product, Tech and Transportation teams, to align on network design priorities and drive data-driven solutions. They will also contribute to long-term network strategy development, focusing on improving network connectivity and lane optimization, while identifying opportunities for cost savings through innovative routing solutions.
The role requires deep understanding of Middle Mile operations, analytical skills (SQL/Python), proven experience in network design or process optimization, and stakeholder management skills.

About the team
The Supply Chain Manager role within AMXL"s Middle Mile Network Design program is responsible for driving mid-term and long-term initiatives to improve the delivery experience and performance of the Amazon Delivery (AMXL) network. This includes researching the AMXL delivery experience and performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and developing and implementing action plans to address performance issues.
