    Supply Chain Manager
    Houston, TX | Onsite | Long-Term Opportunity

iSphere is looking for a Supply Chain Manager who knows how to keep projects and operations moving when suppliers, materials, contracts, logistics, and budgets are all pulling in different directions.

This role will support sourcing, procurement, logistics, inventory, and supplier management across a pretty diverse environment, including thermal power plants, renewable energy projects, data center infrastructure, and indirect procurement. The common thread is simple: make sure the right equipment, materials, and services are available when they are needed, at the right cost, and without creating unnecessary risk along the way.

You will develop sourcing and procurement strategies, manage supplier relationships, support capital and operational purchasing needs, help coordinate logistics and inventory requirements, and work closely with Engineering, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Project teams.

This is not a role for someone who only knows how to process a PO. The client needs someone who can look at the bigger picture, understand supplier performance and risk, negotiate intelligently, and help improve the way the supply chain operates.

    What we need:

    • Strong experience in supply chain, sourcing, procurement, supplier management, or category management

    • Experience supporting complex operational or project-driven environments

    • Strong supplier management and stakeholder management skills

    • Experience with strategic sourcing, contract compliance, and supply chain risk

    • Strong negotiation, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

    • Ability to manage multiple priorities across different business groups

    • Experience with SAP, P2P processes, and Ariba as an end user

Experience in Energy, power generation, renewable energy, infrastructure, or data centers would be a big plus.

The person who does well here will be comfortable stepping into an active environment and figuring out where the pressure points are quickly. One day that may mean dealing with a supplier issue, the next it may be helping a project team source critical equipment, and the next it may be finding a better way to manage cost, inventory, or contract performance.

If you like being in the middle of the action and helping make sure projects have what they need before someone starts asking why they do not, this should be a good fit.
