Position SummaryThe Supply Chain / Procurement Intern will support sourcing, purchasing, supplier management, and supply chain operations activities. This internship provides hands-on experience working with cross-functional teams to improve processes, analyze data, support vendor relationships, and contribute to cost-saving and operational efficiency initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with procurement and sourcing activities, including supplier research and quote comparisons.Support purchase order and contract administration processes.Analyze spend, supplier, and inventory data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.Help maintain procurement records, reports, and supplier documentation.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and support purchasing needs.Participate in supply chain and procurement projects focused on process improvement and cost optimization.Prepare presentations, reports, and recommendations for leadership review.Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and other Microsoft Office applications.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Interest in procurement, sourcing, supply chain operations, and business processes.
Preferred Skills
Experience with data analysis or reporting tools.Familiarity with ERP or procurement systems.Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
