Are you ready to build your career by joining an an international automotive company?  If so, our client is hiring a Supply Chain Analyst. 

Position Type:

  • Contract
  • Onsite

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management
  • 2-5 years of experience in integrated supply chain management (ISCM), finance, automotive, processing, purchasing, parts & accessories, vendor management, and business
  • Experience in JDA and SAP
  • Ability to work flexible hours/schedule
  • Domestic travel

Preferences:

  • Experience with Fortune 500 automotive manufacturing or related manufacturing experience

Responsibilities:

  • Review parts availability based on demand, value, and stocking locations to achieve key performance targets
  • Exemplify "SMART" stocking strategy and align decisions with material matrix
  • Utilize supply chain principles effectively
  • Negotiate and establish delivery plans for parts availability of critical orders
  • Update delivery commitment information for vendors, dealers, and field organization
  • Track and report vendor service level performance
  • Address retail back-orders with supplier orders and reconcile with PAC/Parts Technical
  • Initiate special procurement processes and escalate critical back orders
  • Conduct root cause analysis for proposing alternative suppliers
  • Manage order management considering vendor lead times and in-transit inventory
  • Determine optimal transportation modes for inventory procurement
  • Manage daily order volumes and report root causes of deviations
  • Collaborate with i2 and planners to address schedule changes or conflicts
  • Monitor proposed vs. ordered lines, recommend safety stock and order frequency changes
  • Ensure accurate forecasting and scheduling for specific parts group orders
  • Review forecast exceptions and make adjustments for proper reordering
  • Analyze back-order trends and recommend inventory parameter changes
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert for planning functions and lead discussions
  • Provide weekly reports on open issues and status to SCM Business unit
