Description
Position Summary
The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing the continuous movement of materials and other processes to assist in the efficient flow of supply chain operations. The Analyst will work closely with Supply Chain, Sales, and Materials departments, along with management across the company to meet customer service needs and production demands.
Duties and Responsibilities
+ Coordinate and organize order needs and requirements including: entering purchase orders and order releases, filling out trucks, entering pricing, and other administrative functions as required.
+ Partner with team members to identify and evaluate changing needs and modify orders as necessary (expediate orders, update pricing, etc.).
+ Continually seek to drive the overall supply chain spend down in the major categories of raw material and direct purchased components.
+ Coordinate with each of the plants to support their individual supply chain and inventory performance goals.
Skills and Qualifications
+ Bachelors or Associates degree in supply chain management, business, industrial distribution, or related field, preferred.
+ Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook.
+ Strong presentation and communication skills.
+ Must speak conversational English.
Physical Requirements
+ A bility to lift 20 lbs. as needed.
+ Ability to bend, stand, climb, twist and stoop for extended periods of time.
+ Ability to perform sedentary work including sitting for extended periods of time.
+ Ability to operate standard office equipment.
+ Have good vision of 20/30 with corrective lenses.
+ Ability to maintain coordination of hand and finger movements to grasp and manipulate objects with precision.
+ Travel as needed to accomplish desired results. Overnight travel may be required occasionally.

+ Hazards: Variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical current, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals.
+ Atmospheric conditions: One or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system or the skin – fumes, odors, dust, mist, gases or poor ventilation.
+ Oils: there is air and/or skin exposure to oils and other cutting fluids.
