Job Title: Supply Chain AnalystJob Description

The Supply Chain Analyst will manage and analyze the entire supply chain for high-risk, complex activities. This role is pivotal in developing supply chain business models to achieve significant improvements in business processes, demand planning, capacity management, inventory management, and logistics costs. The individual will be required to make decisions involving a high degree of complexity and work with the management team to develop supply chain disciplines and best practices, including processes and procedures. This position demands an exceptional level of strategic thinking, change initiation, and a long-term corporate perspective. Candidates must have experience working within an ERP system.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and analyze the supply chain for high-risk, complex activities.
  • Develop supply chain business models to improve business processes and cost efficiencies.
  • Make complex decisions to enhance supply chain operations.
  • Collaborate with management to establish supply chain best practices, processes, and procedures.
  • Utilize ERP systems for effective supply chain management.
Essential Skills
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Exceptional management skills.
  • Purchase order management.
  • Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office/Excel.
  • Supply chain analysis and management.
  • Data analysis.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • 4+ years of supply chain experience if no degree.
  • 2+ years of supply chain experience with a Bachelor's degree.
  • Product purchasing experience is highly preferred.
  • Ability to follow processes.
  • Strong communication skills.
Work Environment

The work environment consists of a large-scale manufacturing plant with a hybrid schedule of 2 days in-office and 3 days remote, with the flexibility to choose onsite days. The team includes 6 analysts and a supervisor, following a business casual dress code. The work hours are Monday to Friday, 8-5, with some flexibility.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $33.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
