Job Title: Supply Assurance Buyer
Pay: $37.30 - $45.00 per hour
Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday, 100% onsite

As a Supply Assurance Buyer, you will play a crucial role in supporting manufacturing operations by ensuring the timely procurement of goods and services. Your work will directly support production efficiency and supply chain excellence.



What You'll Do
As a Supply Assurance Buyer, you will be responsible for
  • Placing purchase orders for goods and services needed for manufacturing operations.
  • Managing supplier relationships to optimize the supply chain and ensure reliability.
  • Monitoring inventory and stock levels to meet production goals.
  • Issuing material purchase orders and resolving potential supply issues.
  • Actively managing workflows within SAP system to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Resolving invoice discrepancies to minimize overdue invoices and guarantee supply availability.
  • Evaluating and adjusting stocking levels based on business needs.
  • Ensuring on-time delivery of quality products and services.
  • Working with scheduling teams for expediting and support during critical production phases.
  • Introducing procurement efficiencies to streamline purchasing processes.
  • Participating in supplier audits and business reviews to maintain high standards.
  • Adhering to safety standards and commercial certification programs.
  • Maintaining detailed records of all purchasing activities.
  • Processing RTVs (returns to vendor) for non-conforming materials.

What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in purchasing or production planning.
  • Experience expediting and issuing purchase orders.
  • Strong familiarity with SAP preferred.
  • Coursework toward CPM and/or CPIM certifications is a plus.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of purchasing and materials principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and familiarity with Teams.
